RENTAL AGREEMENT

Delivery and Collection Fee

1. Delivery and collection within a 10 KM radius will be charged RM10 per trip. Delivery and collection above 10KM incur charges of MYR1.50 / KM.2. Additional charge of MYR15.00 per trip for delivery and collection before 08:00 and after 17:00.

Additional Driver

3. Additional drivers will be charged RM10 per person per day. All additional drivers must register upon pick-up of the vehicle and subject to these terms & conditions. We reserve the right to charge any amount and penalties if the hirer hands over the vehicles to an unauthorized driver.

Driver's Age And Licence Requirements

4. The drivers must be between 23 and 65 years old. Other nationals who hold a valid driving licence in English can drive in Malaysia for a maximum of 3 months. Probational license holders will not be accepted.

Minimum Rental

5. Minimum rental is one day (24 hours). Extension above 12 hours considers full day rate.

Mileage Policy

6. 350 km per day. Additional mileage will be charged (Group A) MYR0.50 per KM, (Group B) MYR1.00 per KM, (Group B) MYR2.00 per KM and (Group D) MYR3 per KM. If the hirer needs to travel more than 1000km, he/she must rent for 3 days or more.

Vehicle Collection

7. Please send of your identity card/passport, driving license, business card, or any relevant document via Whatsapp to verify your working/home address. The hirer must be the same person who collects the vehicle.8. During vehicle collection, the hirer is required to check for any damage or missing parts to the vehicles. If the hirer found any damage or missing parts before collecting the vehicle please inform our staff immediately. Any damage or missing part that is not reported earlier will be considered under the hirer's responsibility.

Insurance & Excess

9. All vehicles are fully insured with a standard motor vehicle policy. However, the hirer is responsible for the excess not exceeding MYR4,000 (Group A), MYR6,000 (Group B), MYR10,000 (Group C) and MYR20,000 (Group D).10. All insurance and excess protection do not apply for damage or loss due to careless action, negligence, illegal or improper use of the vehicle. The insurance and excess protection also do not cover tyre punctures, burst tyres, fuel errors, battery damage because of forgotten turned-off electrical devices and loss or damage to the vehicle accessories.11. The accident or damage only applies to a collision between two moving objects. Any damage while the vehicle is stationary will be under the hirer’s full responsibility and subjected to the above excess and excess protection.12. For damage which involves a third party, the hirer is required to get information from the third-party driver which includes the driver’s name, IC/Passport, driving licence and vehicle registration number. If the claim cannot be made against third-party insurance, all damage will be under the hirer’s responsibility and subjected to the above excess or excess protection.13. The hirer is reminded that underbody and overhead damage is at their own risk at all times. All insurance and excess protection is void if the vehicle is driven on an unsealed and unmade road or surface.14. The hirer is required to contact our representatives to inform us of any event of accidents or car theft.15. A police report should be made within 24 hours after the accident or from the time you’ve found out about the theft or loss. The police report should be obtained in writing.

Security

16. The hirer must provide relevant documents such as a genuine identity card/passport and driving license to verify your working/home address.17. The hirer also needs to provide a security deposit which will be refunded within 36 hours after the hirer returns the car.
Here are the security deposit rates according to car typea) RM200 for cars under 1.5ccb) RM300 for 1.6cc to 2.0cc carsc) RM500 for cars over 2.1cc

Penalties

18. Smoking is prohibited inside the car. Penalty MYR200 will be charged for cleaning any unpleasant odour.19. All traffic/parking summons (if any) will be under hirer's responsibility. The penalty of MYR300 will be charged if the customer fails to pay the summons within the time specified after we send the notification.20. For long-term rental, the hirer is responsible for returning the car to our nearest branch if the car is due for servicing. We reserve the right to charge a penalty of MYR1.00 per KM after 500 KM exceeding the service limit.

Speed Limit

21. The speed limit for highways in Malaysia is 110 KM/hr, while normal road is 90 KM/hr. Please drive carefully and obey traffic rules.

Criminal Activity

22. The hirer is strictly prohibited from engaging in criminal activities when using an Adacar rental car. We will fully cooperate with the authorities of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) in the event of a crime or suspicious activity by the hirer.

23. The activity of smuggling prohibited goods or unregistered foreign workers is also strictly prohibited.

Returning The Vehicle

24. Please inform us if you want to return or extend the rental.25. The facilities must be in their original condition when returning the car or you will be charged according to the cost of the item26. The hirer must refill the oil to the original level when returning the car

Cancellation Policy

27. All cancellations must be notified 24 hours before the booking date. We reserve the right to charge full-day rental for cancellation less than 24 hours.28. In the event of early termination or before the rental agreement period ends, the hirer has no right to refund any or part of the charges.

The accident or damage only applies to a collision between two moving objects. Any damage while the vehicle is stationary will be under the hirer’s full responsibility and subjected to the above excess and excess protection.12. For damage which involves a third party, the hirer is required to get information from the third-party driver which includes the driver’s name, IC/Passport, driving licence and vehicle registration number. Returning The Vehicle

24. Please inform us if you want to return or extend the rental.25. The facilities must be in their original condition when returning the car or you will be charged according to the cost of the item26. The hirer must refill the oil to the original level when returning the car

16. The hirer must provide relevant documents such as a genuine identity card/passport and driving license to verify your working/home address.17. The hirer also needs to provide a security deposit which will be refunded within 36 hours after the hirer returns the car.
Here are the security deposit rates according to car typea) RM200 for cars under 1.5ccb) RM300 for 1.6cc to 2.0cc carsc) RM500 for cars over 2.1cc

Penalties

18. Smoking is prohibited inside the car. Penalty MYR200 will be charged for cleaning any unpleasant odour.19. All traffic/parking summons (if any) will be under hirer's responsibility. The penalty of MYR300 will be charged if the customer fails to pay the summons within the time specified after we send the notification.20. For long-term rental, the hirer is responsible for returning the car to our nearest branch if the car is due for servicing. We reserve the right to charge a penalty of MYR1.00 per KM after 500 KM exceeding the service limit.

Speed Limit

21. The speed limit for highways in Malaysia is 110 KM/hr, while normal road is 90 KM/hr. Please drive carefully and obey traffic rules.

Criminal Activity

22. The hirer is strictly prohibited from engaging in criminal activities when using an Adacar rental car. We will fully cooperate with the authorities of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) in the event of a crime or suspicious activity by the hirer.

23. The activity of smuggling prohibited goods or unregistered foreign workers is also strictly prohibited.

Returning The Vehicle

24. Please inform us if you want to return or extend the rental.25. The facilities must be in their original condition when returning the car or you will be charged according to the cost of the item26. The hirer must refill the oil to the original level when returning the car

Cancellation Policy

27. All cancellations must be notified 24 hours before the booking date. We reserve the right to charge full-day rental for cancellation less than 24 hours.28. In the event of early termination or before the rental agreement period ends, the hirer has no right to refund any or part of the charges.
